Ce chef-d’œuvre de l’opera buffa, retrouve sur scène sa vitalité et son humour dans cette production signée Christophe Mirambeau.

Transposé dans l’Espagne franquiste de 1957, ce Séville imaginaire devient le théâtre d’un face-à-face comique entre manipulateurs autoritaires et jeunes esprits libres. Rosine, futée et moderne, déjoue les plans de Bartolo et Basilio avec ruse et charme, tandis que Figaro et Almaviva incarnent l’ingéniosité et l’idéal romantique.
Pour rendre l’œuvre accessible et vivante, les dialogues sont en français, et les airs chantés en italien, transformant chaque réplique et chaque note en moteur du rire et de la surprise. La scénographie, inventive et dynamique, accompagne le flux de l’intrigue, faisant du décor un acteur à part entière.
À travers cette lecture contemporaine, Christophe Mirambeau souligne l’universalité et l’actualité de l’œuvre : célébrer l’esprit, l’amour et la liberté face aux contraintes et à l’absurdité sociale. Un opéra-bouffe jubilatoire, où le théâtre et la musique se répondent avec générosité et malice.
